The base has two drawers that each accommodate three full-size food pans, which must be purchased separately, and its top is sturdy enough to support equipment.

Cool temperatures range from 33 to 38 degrees Fahrenheit and are maintained by a self-contained capillary tube system. After the drawers have been shut, large fans quickly chill food. To withstand daily use, this True TRCB-52-60 chef base’s exterior is constructed of stainless steel and aluminum, while its interior is white aluminum, providing scrape and dent resistance.
